Hickory, NC - Cape Fear women's volleyball lost it's second game on Saturday to Spartanburg Methodist by a score of 3-0.
The Sea Devils competed hard against the Pioneers, but fell in three consecutive sets by scores of 25-18, 25-21, and 25-16.
Despite the losses over the weekend, head coach Heather Emborsky saw positive signs from her team in the final match today.
"Though we aren't coming home with the win, I finally saw the team sync and play with purpose and towards the same goal."
The Sea Devils fall to 1-6 on the season. They play next on Wednesday, October 10th, against Pitt Community College on the road.
