Wilmington, NC - Cape Fear Community College came out with energy, creating early chances and outshooting Richard Bland 5–4 in the first half. Despite the opportunities, the Sea Devils couldn't convert, and Richard Bland capitalized, striking twice before the break. Cape Fear continued to push but was unable to find its rhythm in the second half, and Richard Bland added a late goal to seal the 3–0 win.
Goalkeeper Aydan Scharf recorded 3 saves in 78 minutes of play, while Jayden Drum added 1 save in relief. Offensively, Sean DePhillips, Andrew Allain, Josue Rojo, and Dominic McNerney each registered shots on goal for the Sea Devils.

The loss drops Cape Fear to 1–1–3 overall and 0–1–1 in Region 10 play. The Sea Devils will look to rebound September 30 on the road at Louisburg College, who currently sit atop the conference standings.
