Hampton, VA - Cape Fear Community College has run off three-straight wins since their season opening setback following an 89-38 rout over Thomas Nelson Community College in women's basketball on Sunday afternoon.
Jasmine Brown led a balance scoring attack with 16 points for the Sea Devils, who moved to 3-1 overall.
"I've been impressed with our ability to play pressure defense and it helped us get out to a 53-9 lead at halftime," said CFCC Coach Chris Harris.
Cape Fear is off for the next 10 days before returning to the floor for a brief two-game home stand against conference foe Louisburg College on Wednesday, Dec. 2.
