Jamestown, NC - Desaree Green led all scorers with 20 points to guide No. 12 Cape Fear Community College in a 78-70 road win at Guilford Tech in women's basketball action on Saturday.
"It was a big win," said CFCC Coach Chris Harris. "We knew Guilford would bring their best. We were down two at the half and fought back down the stretch. I thought we made a few more plays than they did. Our inside games was the difference."
The Sea Devils improved to 7-1 in conference and 15-1 overall. They get back on the floor Sunday to close out the weekend trip as Cape Fear faces Patrick Henry Community College at 1 pm in Martinsville, Virginia.
