Women's Basketball Hits the Road versus Bryant & Stratton (VA) College

WILMINGTON, NC --- The Sea Devil Women's Basketball program hits the road for a Saturday afternoon slate match-up versus Bryant & Stratton (VA) College after they defeated Fayetteville Technical Community College on Wednesday evening by the score of (89-65).

"I am excited to test our character with another road game. We are heading into our fourth road game in a row and it will be a good test for our young ladies," said Sea Devil Women's Basketball head coach Lori Drake in her pre-game presser leading up to Saturday's game versus the Bobcat Women's Basketball program. 

Cape Fear will look to win their second straight game overall and in Region 10 Conference after their opening conference win against the Trojans Women's Basketball program earlier this week by the score of (89-65). 

Freshman forward/center Taylor Foulks led the way with 21 points, while Desaree Green and Jalessa Dillard each netted 14 points. 

"We did a great job of bouncing back from the weekend in Georgia, and executed our goals going into our first conference game of the season. We still have a lot of work to do and growth to make each day, but as long as we are improving daily then this season will be bright for us."said Sea Devil Women's Basketball head coach Lori Drake in her post-game presser following their win in Wednesday's game versus the Trojans. 

Cape Fear enters the game with a (2-2) overall, and (1-0) in Region 10 Conference play record, as they enter their second conference game versus Bryant & Stratton (VA) College; while the Bobcats enter with a (5-1) overall record and a (1-1) in Region 10 Conference play record leading up to Saturday's game. 

As for their opponent, the Bobcats are coming off a (82-65) road victory over Northern Virginia Community College on Tuesday evening. Leading the way was forward Kayla Clifton who was the team's leading scorer with 28 points, guard Kiana Crevison-Artis finished as the team's second leading scorer with 19 points on three made 3's, and guard Kyara Cooper finished as the team's third leading scorer with 14 points. 

This is the fourth all-time meeting between Cape Fear Community College, and Bryant & Stratton (VA) College; Bobcats lead the all-time series at (2-1).
