Wilmington, NC - #13 ranked Cape Fear women's basketball defeated Johnston Community College, 85-43, on Saturday.
Freshman Danielle Rainey led the Sea Devils with 13 points, while freshman guard Tracey Kemp scored 11.
Head coach Lori Drake was happy that her team won convincingly giving the timing of the game.
"It is always tough coming off of finals week and heading straight into a conference game, but our ladies took care of business in both the classroom and on the court this week," said Drake.
Cape Fear improves to 9-1 overall, and 7-0 in conference play. Their next game is scheduled for Tuesday, December 19th, where they will take on Catawba Valley Community College on the road at 3:00 p.m.
