Jamestown, NC - Cape Fear women's basketball kicked off 2019 with an impressive 89-71 win over Guilford Tech Community College.
Ny Langley and Sydney Austin led the Sea Devils with 16 points a piece.
After some time off for the holiday break, head coach Lori Drake came away impressed with the way her team played.
"Coming off of nine days off and a week of practices, I couldn't be more proud of how our ladies performed tonight. It was a great start to the New Year."
The Sea Devils improve to 10-2 on the season. They will have a quick turnaround as they play tomorrow, January 5th, as they take on Catawba Valley Community College on the road at 1:00 p.m.
