Bio

Jackie DeNova joins the Sea Devil staff after spending a two year stint as assistant coach at Coker College (NCAA DII), as well as working with Coach Entlich at Columbus State University.  While at Coker, DeNova helped rebuild the Cobras women’s soccer organization and provided essential goalkeeper training for the program. 

Out of high school, DeNova signed at University of Mississippi where she competed for three seasons in the SEC for the Lady Rebels.  In 2009, she transferred to William Carey University in Hattiesburg, MS where she was a two- time All-American.  DeNova had an impressive playing career that included recognition to the Nissan All-Region Team and the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) All-Conference Team.  She was named SSAC Defensive Player of the Year and Divisional Player of the Year, in addition to receiving Conference Player of the Week, as well as, National Player of the Week honors multiple times.

To complement her stellar playing career, DeNova has a wealth of coaching experience at the club and academy level.  She serves on staff for the Last Defense Goalkeeping Camp, Columbus State University Soccer Camp, South Carolina ODP, and provides elite training to goalkeepers throughout the region. 

DeNova holds a USSF National “C” Coaching License and serves on staff for South Carolina ODP and Cape Fear Soccer Association.

A native of Washington State, DeNova graduated from William Carey in May 2011 and currently resides in Wilmington, NC.
